Data on public and municipal contracting come from the FTP server of the official Russian Unified information system in the field of public procurement http://zakupki.gov.ru. The system collects and publishes the information on public procurements and contracts.
The Clearspending project extracts and puts together the data on the contracts signed by the federal laws: 94-FZ, 44-FZ, and 223-FZ. The earliest contracts in the database date back to 2011.
Data are updated on a daily basis. There is a limitation in full-text search through contracts limited by the latest 500 contracts. (by product description fields): such queries return only up to 500 contracts.
